Standard CRC-32 (the zlib/PKZIP algorithm: reflected polynomial 0xEDB88320, init and final XOR
0xFFFFFFFF) over ECU 0x1C1280–0x27FD5F, read from the calibration header's
range words at 0x1C0238/0x1C023C. The result is stored big-endian at 0x1C0244.
The header (magic 87654383) is located automatically, so reads starting at 0x1C0200 or
0x1C0000 both work. Only those 4 bytes are changed. Files without a valid header are rejected.
